Our Terms & Conditions apply to all Vintage Living sales and they do not affect your statutory rights. We comply with the UK Government's "Distance Selling Rules".

Information about Vintage Living
The name Vintage Living is our brand and website name. We acquire and sell pre-owned vintage and antique products (china, glass, silver and home products) The business is run as a sole trader and we are based at Unit 61, Cirencester Antiques Centre, 25 Market Place, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 2NX

Information on our website
We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the data on our web site ( however it is possible errors may occur. We make every effort to rectify any errors as soon as possible but we cannot be held responsible and accept no responsibility or liabilities for incorrect data. Any material downloaded or obtained from our website is done so entirely at your own risk.

Product descriptions, photos and specifications
Please note that all of the Vintage Living items for sale are pre-owned, many have been used and are over 100 years old. This of course means that these vintage items may show signs of age, have marks, manufacturing imperfections, signs of usage and general wear. Vintage condition is not considered damaged or faulty.

We accurately describe every item as best we can and we point out any significant imperfections that have been identified. All dimensions indicated are approximate. We also take clear photographs of every piece so that the buyer can get a good idea of the condition and colours. When viewed on computer screens that are not calibrated or when printed off, the colours may differ from those in real life.

The descriptions reflect our current knowledge and understanding. We do not accept any responsibility for errors in the product descriptions. Where possible and for information only, we have included a photo of the item's manufacturing marks which are often found on the base of a product.
  • Furniture will have been cleaned and in some cases re-finished if absolutely necessary.
  • Electrical items are all in good working order and PAT tested where possible.
UK mainland pricing information including packaging and postage (P&P) are available on the website for each item for sale. All item prices are exclusive of P&P and include any applicable taxes. The P&P charge for each item is clearly indicated and is added on to the item price when the items are ordered. The P&P charges are applied to each and every item separately.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time and we are entitled to refuse or cancel any order placed by any customer.

We use third party organisations to collect payments using their secure online processes. We do not handle or manage personal or credit card information directly ourselves.

Our aim is to post all items within 5 days of ordering and confirmation of funds. We use Royal Mail delivery services for most orders. In the unlikely event of an item being delivered damaged, please let us know within 48 hours using the email address provided:

Returns, refunds and cancellations
We are confident that our customers will be delighted with their purchases. All of the items sold by Vintage Living are considered to be of vintage condition. We do not accept returns or provide refunds on vintage condition items unless damage is proven to have happened during delivery or in the case of order cancellation (detailed below). We believe that the goods supplied by Vintage Living cannot be returned because of their nature.

If goods are accidentally damaged during delivery, our liability for that damage is limited to the repair, refund, exchange or replacement of the goods or to the value of the original sales price.

We do not refund items, which have been damaged by you during unpacking, dishwashing or microwaving.

To enable an exchange or refund to take place for an item damaged during delivery, the customer is responsible for informing us at Vintage Living by email, of the item damaged within 48 hours of delivery. The customer is responsible for sending the item back to us at Vintage Living, and the customer will pay for that postage. On receipt of the damaged item, if necessary and if an exchange is agreed, we will pay postage on the return item.

Since we deliver vintage condition items very soon after order receipt and confirmation of funds, it is difficult to handle cancellations. Cancellations are accepted before item delivery or before a maximum of 7 working days after order receipt. In this case the order value will be refunded. 

Cancellation refunds will be payable if the ordered goods are received back by Vintage Living in the original order condition.
