Save the Wedgwood Collection for the nation!!!!!

Save the Wedgwood Collection for the nation!!!
Since falling into administration Wedgwood's collection of over 8000 items has been at risk of auction and would undoubtedly be dispersed over the world. The art fund charity has agreed a purchase price of £15.75m
And will give the collection to the V&A who intern will lend the collection to the Wedgwood museum in Staffordshire. The art fund has raised most of the amount already, but still need £2.65m and are now looking to the public to secure the collection before the deadline of November 30th. A charitable trust has pledged to match the first £500,000 raised. I realise that this sort of charity is not of high priority for most, but we should not be quick to allow our heritage to disappear in this manner. You can donate at or give £10 by texting WEDGWOOD to 70800
